James Cooper ACA CF

James qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2011. He was awarded the Corporate Finance qualification by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment in 2016, having achieved the highest marks in the UK in the final stage of qualification – Corporate Finance Strategy and Advice.

He joined JDC Corporate Finance in September 2016 after spending 11 years with Lovewell Blake, the last four years of which were spent within the Corporate Finance team.

James has acted as lead adviser on a number of private acquisition, disposal, MBO and MBI assignments and also has extensive experience in the provision of transaction support, including financial forecasting, due diligence and valuation services and advising on business reorganisations and succession strategies.

James is an active member of the ICAEW Corporate Finance Faculty.
